**Company Profile**
We are a small business, located in a small town, near a busy metropolis looking to fill a position for Pedorthist or Chiropodist. We manufacture custom shoes and orthotics on-site, ranging from normal to quite unique (with design and manufacturing challenges arising from each client's desires and needs). We also have a storefront where we also provide clients with suitable footwear to best accommodate various needs. We have been around for over 40 years and our focus is on quality, fit, and comfort in providing footwear and footwear solutions for those we service.
**Duties include (but not limited to)**:
- Oversee daily retail and clinic operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinic policies, best practices, and seek to provide seamless and efficient workflows.
- Assist with staff schedules, performance evaluations, and human resources functions.
- Lead and supervise a team of foot care specialists, Pedorthists, sales associates, and related support staff.
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage data entry using computer systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care, and develop and promote related health education programs.
- Utilize Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Manufacturing orthotics and custom footwear.
- Client lower limb biomechanical assessment and clinical diagnosis of pedorthic services needed/recommended.
- Gather and record client information for manufacturing footwear and/or orthotics.
- General stitching, patching and shoe repairs, as required, to accommodate business needs and services.
- Develop and implement customer service standards to provide an exceptional client experience.
- Manage budgets, financial reports, and cost control measures to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining an optimal product mix.
- Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to drive foot traffic and sales.
Mid-Term Goals:
- Produce 3D scans or castings of client feet or existing lasts.
- Design custom shoe lasts in CAD from 3D scan data.
- Manufacture a physical last by milling, 3D printing, or other method.
- Fit and adjust products/fit models/etc. on the client & adjust as needed for comfort & performance.
- Reverse engineer the last to fit the adjusted fitting model.
- Produce 2D shoe patterns from 3D CAD model
- Cut, prepare & assemble materials to make a finished shoe product.
- Replace soles and heels
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a clinic management or similar role is preferred.
- Background in home care or hospital settings is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively, with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in computer operation, including experience with Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse populations and professions.
- Experience in supervising staff and managing human resources functions is a plus.
- Proficiency in using healthcare management software and retail point-of-sale systems.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and promoting foot health.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

**Experience**:
- Pedorthic: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:
- Fluent English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Pedorthist or Chiropodist license registered under Ontario (required)
