We are a Millwork shop looking to hire two full-time experienced **Cabinet Makers** to join our talented team in Oakville. We have been manufacturing commercial store fixtures for over thirty years and require at least three years of prior experience from you. We offer a 42.5 hour work week from Monday through Friday, with overtime often available.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manufacturing high quality fixtures using various materials, (i.e.) solid woods, veneers, MDF, melamine, plastic laminates, solid surface, etc.
- Safe set-up and operation of all machinery, power tools and hand tools as pertaining to a woodworking shop
- Installation of drawer slides, pulls, hinges and other hardware as required
- Assembling cabinets and fixtures, fitting parts, repairs
- Reading, understanding and interpreting drawings, cut lists, material lists
- Sand and prepare components and cabinets for finishing
- Keeping a clean, organized and safe work area
- Proactive thinking, problem solving
- The ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- CNC programming and operation an asset but not necessary
- On site installation experience an asset but not necessary

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as a full-fledged **Cabinet Maker**, preferably in the commercial sector
- Ability to accurately take measurements and the use of basic industry math
- Capable of standing for long periods of time
- Bending, lifting 50 + pounds
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow direction

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
