**Why is this role important**

Our** Store Colleagues**are inspired doers. They help provide a positive in-store shopping experience by ensuring the store is always ready with available products that meet customer needs to live life well. Our Clerks inspire our customers through delightful conversation and knowledge of products.

**What you’ll do**
- ** Supervising Cashiers**: You'll oversee the activities of front-end cashiers, ensuring they provide excellent customer service, operate cash registers accurately, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- ** Customer Service**: Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and issues that cashiers are unable to resolve. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- ** Cash Management**: Monitor cash flow, perform cash audits, and ensure that cashiers follow proper cash handling procedures to minimize discrepancies and maintain security.
- ** Loss Prevention**: Implement and enforce loss prevention measures to minimize theft and fraud at the cash registers. Train staff on awareness and prevention techniques.
- ** Operational Support**: Assist with opening and closing procedures, including balancing registers, preparing deposits, and securing the front-end area at the end of the day.
- ** Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to cash handling, privacy, and customer service.
- ** Team Leadership**: Motivate and lead your team of cashiers by setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment.
- ** Communication**: Maintain effective communication with other departments, managers, and staff to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.
