Account Manager, Group Benefit

**What you will do**

• Develop deep rooted business relationships with both current and new Benefit Advisors, to achieve annual sales, persistency, retention and other targets
• Work closely with Benefit Advisors throughout the sales process and life cycle of a policy. From time of quote and/ or presentation, to time of sale and renewal
• Ability to problem solve a variety of items from customer satisfaction to large financial decisions.
• Assist in the development of Benefit Advisors. Inclusive but not limited to, product and financial arrangement knowledge, Canada Life specific products and market strengths, and business solution

**What you will bring**

• Preferred, but not required
• 3+ years of experience in the field of group insurance and thorough knowledge of group life insurance, healthcare insurance, disability insurance, and underwriting
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written with an enthusiasm for doing presentations
• Excellent mathematical skills Undergraduate diploma or equivalent ideal Ability to act quickly and put forward innovative solutions
• Ability to work and adapt in a fast‑ paced and evolving environment
• Strong sales and interpersonal skills as well as motivation to achieve business objectives
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle, given the travel needs Designation of C. A. A. S. [certified group benefits advisor], GBA (Group Benefits Associate), or CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) is a significant asset

The base salary for this position is between **$55,700**

• $92,800**annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
