This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Toronto office.

**What the day will look like**

As an Associate Partner in Retirement Consulting and as a business leader, you will help contribute to Aon’s success while you:

- Lead client relationships for medium to large sized accounts including critical thinking and problem solving; strong second on large complex clients
- Understand all projects involved with a client and make sure all needs are being met and proceeding on schedule
- Working through larger, more complex projects with little oversight and responsible for the results, including explanations, presentations, and impact
- Having mastered many technical concepts and making reasonable interpretations of how they impact clients, including explanations, presentations and impact
- Develop and participate in effective oral presentations for existing or prospective clients, individually or in concert with team members
- Participate in business development activities
- Proactively initiating and leading some discussions internally and externally
- Coordinate resources on different mandates to achieve client results and collaborate on client activities with other experienced team members
- Display confidence, passion, and leadership
- Self-motivate, demonstrate desire to continue to learn and grow, and to go outside one’s comfort zone
- Supervise, guide and mentor less experienced colleagues.

Retirement programs have large financial implications for employers. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting client teams who are passionate about the management of the financial risk of their client's retirement programs.

You will collaborate with a broad and diverse array of clients in both the public and private sector. Working with teams of colleagues you will lead the day-to-day delivery of retirement services. You will also assist in leading in marketing activities, take part in the development of new service offerings, and to expand your skills through continued learning.

As a member of the Aon Wealth Solutions team and a leader of the business, you will also work closely with colleagues in our Commercial Risk, Health and Reinsurance Solutions businesses to bring the best of Aon to address client needs and to help give our clients the clarity and confidence to make better decisions.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- 10+ years in pension plan consulting or related field
- English written and spoken
- Organization skills, rigour, and thoroughness
- Proficient MS Office software (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other related degree
- Fully qualified actuary (FSA/FCIA)
