**Icon Energy Services Ltd.** is a growing company that specializes in custom CNC machining, non-destructive examination, oilfield equipment remanufacturing, professional engineering, design, drafting, and fabrication. We are looking for someone to join our multi vocational team.

We are seeking a **Hydraulic / Heavy Duty Mechanical Technician**to join our team. This position will be based in Red Deer County AB.

**Education and Experience (Minimum 1 of the following required)**
- Heavy Duty Mechanic 2nd year and up
- Millwright 2nd year and up
- Hydraulic technical experience

**Qualifications**:

- Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Able to handle multiple tasks and manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail

**Additional Experience considered an asset**:

- Able to read and plumb off hydraulic schematics
- Familiar with hydraulic systems
- Experience working on oilfield equipment such as snubbing units, tongs, Hydraulic power units etc.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Able to wire low voltage systems and trouble shoot wiring issues

**Responsibilities Included but not limited to**:

- Able to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Follow instructions without constant supervision
- Assist with equipment disassembly and assembly
- Plumbing hydraulic systems
- Preform daily equipment mechanical inspections
- Repair shop equipment (forklifts, picker, etc.)
- Must be reliable and on-time
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Maintain clean work area
- Willing to work extra hours when required to complete a job in tight timelines
