**Dental Receptionist**

We are currently searching for a full-time Receptionist to cover a 12 - 18 month maternity leave. There is a possibility that this position will become permanent.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Greet patients while maintaining practice and office philosophy/image
- Schedule appointments over the telephone and in person
- Collaborate with the team for a seamless patient flow
- Follow up on appointment contacts to ensure proper and continuing care is provided
- Treatment coordinating
- Use automated system for appointment confirmations
- Input patient treatment and process claims electronically
- Collect payments from patients at time of treatment
- Proactively monitor appointment cancellations and ensure these are filled in a timely manner
- Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- **Requirements**:_
- Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental office or another healthcare field
- Strong command of the English language (written and spoken)
- Good organizational/time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Able to build patient relationships
- Quick learner with willingness to learn
- Teamplayer
- High degree of professionalism
- Positive attitude and flexibility

- Experience with Abeldent software and RecallMax
- Multilingual

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
