Job description

Senior Homecare by Angel Milton is seeking to hire a compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our dynamic care team. We provide comprehensive care to seniors and disabled adults at home.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide non-medical support and companionship to senior clients in their homes
- Provide medication reminders, as needed
- Assist with hygiene assistance - such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Perform meal preparation, and diet monitoring
- Help with laundry and light housekeeping duties
- Assist with ambulation/mobility assistance

Employment Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Be self-directed and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Current driver’s license and reliable transportation is mandatory*
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check, or consent to have one done
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Must be PSW certified
- Must comply with all agency policies
- Valid Work Permit, student visa and all applicable.
- Have at least three satisfactory professional references

Our office serves clients in Milton, Halton Hills, Mississauga, Oakville Ontario and the surrounding communities.

This position will require travel to client homes in these areas*

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON L9T1P5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- PSW: 2 years (required)
- Personal Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Drive License (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
