**Essential Functions**:

- Assist in processing day-to-day transactions including shipments, receipts, returns and moves as well as monitoring inventory levels
- Coordinate and participate in cycle counts with team on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
- Compare inventory balances daily and reconcile all variances by working closely with the inventory team and customer to ensure the accuracy of all transactions performed
- Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe office work environment
- Strong analytical skills and extremely detail oriented.
- Well versed in production software and WMS systems
- Above average skill in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Forklift certified
- Minimum of two years inventory experience in a distribution/warehouse/production environment.
- 3PL a plus
- Other tasks or projects as assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or Associate degree preferred
- Minimum two plus years of experience in Inventory Control with exposure to the transportation, logistics or closely related industry for two or more years.

**Abilities**:

- Demonstrate the ability to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals/demand
- Demonstrate ability to interact and work within a team
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and complete in a timely manner
- Remain detail-oriented while being able to multitask
- Effective people skills.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and carry out instructions from oral directions or written correspondence
- Ability to work a variable shift is a must Be able to work well under pressure in a fast pace environment.
- Knowledge Computer skills - MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint,
- Knowledge of kitting, assembly, bills of materials a plus (EDI) knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of the IC module of major ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Agile, etc.) a plus
- Vendor compliance
- Able to manage difficult customers situations in a calm and cordial manner
- Excellent knowledge of Client Service practices and procedures
