**Job Summary**
The Associate is accountable for supporting the Global Markets Supervision Strategic Initiatives and Integration team in the design, implementation and maintenance of key Front Office Control enhancements, regulatory initiatives across Global Markets and, day to day BAU activities. The Associate will work closely with the Vice President, Global Markets Supervision, and relevant stakeholders to ensure a robust Front Office control framework for Global Markets to reduce RBC regulatory and/or reputational risk.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Assist the Global Markets Supervision team in determining appropriate tactical and strategic solutions to ensure Business Supervisors have the appropriate tools to evidence compliance with Regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Aid in providing direction as Front Office representative on regulatory initiatives/projects as well as internal requirements across Global Markets as required.
- Prepare project related documentation such as process workflow diagrams and business requirements documents.
- Complete regular and ad hoc reviews as well as reporting as part of daily supervision program delivery across multiple programs and projects.
- Propose enhancements to the Supervisory tools, including Dashboard and Management Reporting.
- Work closely with IT and Front Office to leverage expertise and technology where possible, to automate and reduce inefficiencies related to Supervisory reviews.
- Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to business activities.
- Foster, develop and maintain strong working relationships with front office, Senior Management, Desk Heads, Business Management, and functional stakeholders to support the business.
**Must Have**:
- Undergraduate university degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks across programs and business lines within tight timeframes
- Ability to work and prioritize under pressure
**Nice to Have**:
- In-depth knowledge of Global Markets business and asset classes
- Strong track record of regulatory implementation experience
- Excellent presentation skills
