Electronic Assembler

We are looking to hiring a Electronic Assembler for our electronic manufacturing facility located in the Lower Mainland.
**Responsibilities**:
- Hand soldering of thru hole components
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly and other related electronic assemblies
- Effectively follow assembly procedures for repair and refurbishment of tablets and other assemblies
- Follow moderately detailed assembly instructions to complete tasks
- Solder and assembly wire assemblies
- Use hand tools and power tools such as screw drivers, torque drivers, wire strippers and crimping tools
- Assist in material kitting and inventory as needed
- Labeling, cleaning and final packaging of products
- Perform various testing following test procedures
- Ensure product meets standards and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
**Qualifications**:
- Technical manufacturing background (Min 1 year)
- Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 would be considered a definite asset
- Knowledge of component identification
- Proficiency with soldering / de-soldering
- Knowledge of to use a computer
- Knowledge of component handling and ESD requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Willing to learn and identify new solutions.
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Able to sit most of the working day
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Able to perform consistently in a self directed manner
- Read, write and speak English
- Able to work with supervisor to meet deliveries and work in the most efficient manner
**Salary**: $17.00-$20.99 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
