Alpha Parking Control has a position available for municipal bylaw enforcement officer to service rotating towns in the Guelph Northern Area. The position requires that you perform as an on street enforcement officer under the direction of a supervisor and that you are comfortable working independently. You will be required to enforce all parking bylaws on streets, public and private property. Applicants must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and walking a patrol area. 8 and 12 hour shifts forming a continental schedule should be expected. Must be available for weekend schedules on the rotation. You must have an outgoing and active attitude to handle the physical requirements of entering and exiting a vehicle multiple times during a shift Be able to handle public inquires and comfortable interacting with the public.

Be professional and presentable at all times in uniform

Be comfortable to drive on the highway and in town

Detail orientated.

**Requirement and Considerations**

Must have a full G class license with no demerit points (abstract required)

Must have a criminal background check

Must have a valid Toronto MLEO Badge Number

Consideration given for currently certified bylaw officers and MLEO’s

Consideration given for those with a current valid Ontario Security Guard or Investigators License

Consideration given for those that are bilingual (please indicate languages spoken)

**Compensation**

Scale is $20.50 to $26.00 per hour depending on qualifications, experience and training.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
