Rv Detail Lead

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our accounting team as an **RV Detail Lead**. This is a **Full-Time, Regular **position for our **Airdrie Dealership in Alberta**.

The Detail Lead will supervise, coach, and motivate a team of up to 8 RV detailers during peak season and create a learning environment within the department guided by our company’s core values. Working under the direction of the Sales Manager is the primary point person on our detail team to ensure we are preparing the RVs to the highest standard for our customers. Leading a team of 4 to 8 detailers, this hands-on role is responsible for washing, cleaning, polishing, and performing general upkeep on car interiors and exteriors to ensure they are clean and presentable for customers. This position will also provide general assistance at the dealership, including moving cars, assisting co-workers and assisting with the cleaning of the dealership lot.

**JOB DUTIES**
- Lead a Team of 3-6 RV detailers
- Work alongside the team to clean and detail inside and outside of RVs being sold
- Create a learning environment within the detail department guided by our core values as an organization
- Create and implement effective scheduling to accommodate the business
- Coordinate Scheduling of work completion within the department based on Customer Pickups and stock inventory requirements
- Communicate effectively with Sales team regarding RV status and condition
- Ensure that all auto detailers and cleaners are implementing the proper use of cleaning products, equipment and machinery
- Training new staff members in general RV detailing activities, including vacuuming, deep-cleaning, and deodorizing.
- Quality control and ensure that all vehicles detailed meet company standards and are to customer's satisfaction
- Manage the inventory and ordering of chemicals
- Other duties as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience with Supervising and/or Housekeeping/Detailing.
- Class 5 Driver’s license and Clean Abstract - PLEASE ATTACH ABSTRACT WITH RESUME
- Ability to supervise employees and handle various situations under pressure as a supervisor
- Ability to coach and motivate.
- Must be reliable, dependable, possessing a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Must be well-organized, self-motivated and committed to our company values.
- Experience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, that may be physically demanding with repetitive tasks
- Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination
- Ability to work in various work environments: wet, damp, strong odours, dust, cold environments
- Ability to read text, numeracy, problem solving, time management and customer relations skills
- Ability to maintain and build clientele relationships
- Housekeeping and Automotive detail skills considered an asset
