Purpose of the position_**

The position will be responsible for (but not limited to):

- Performing weed and agricultural pest inspections to meet municipal needs and provincial legislations.
- Participating in safety protocols and administrative tasks as required, including accurate record keeping for the program.
- Supporting public relations measures to project a positive municipal image.

To be successful in this position, you will:

- Be enrolled in post-secondary education related to the Agricultural, Environmental, or Natural Resources field.
- Have possession of an Authorized Pesticide Applicator License (preferred).
- Have 1 year of relevant experience (preferred).
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Have strong reliability.

Position details_**
- Salary range is: $25.93 - $28.16/hr (along with full access to the Bold Center and Portage Pool).
- Full-Time Summer position - Working May to September (flexible end date depending on operational need).
- Hours: Based on a 40-hour workweek. Working days and evenings/weekends as needed.
- _ Preference will be given to qualified Lac La Biche County residents and those returning to full-time studies in the fall of 2025._
