Maple Tree Consulting and Support Services is seeking Full Time team members for our Personalized Community Care program. The Personalized Community Care program (PCC) team works in partnership with Children’s Services and Collaborative Service Delivery agencies to provide 24-hour support to youth in a home environment. Youth involved with PCC generally require a level of support beyond that of a typical placement, such as in a foster home or group care setting.

PCC staff engage with youth in daily living, modelling, and teaching a variety of life skills including: positive relationship building, appropriate boundaries, self-care/hygiene, and communication skills. The PCC team practices harm reduction and approaches youth through a trauma informed lens, ensuring they continue to feel safe in their home.
- Be flexible and reliable in their availability, including evenings, weekends, and overnights, as we are a 24/7 organization.
- Understand the behavioural impacts of a FASD diagnosis and have experience working with youth who have such needs.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form positive, professional relationships with youth and co-workers.
- Possess knowledge and skills in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understand child development and positive parenting strategies.
- Be able to prepare meals and complete basic household tasks as part of a supportive care environment.
- Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License, current vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Be able to provide a current Criminal Record Check and an Intervention Record Check (dated within the last six months).
- Have the physical and mental capacity to work in high-demand environments with vulnerable youth.

**Job Qualifications and Requirements**:
**Location Requirement**:

- Ability to commute/relocate to Edmonton, AB: Must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

**Education**:

- Diploma or Degree in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, or a related Human Services field (preferred).
- Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience working in supportive care with children and youth (preferred). New Graduates will be considered and are encouraged to apply.

**Language**:

- English (required).

**Licenses/Certifications**:

- Trauma-Informed Care (preferred).
- First Aid Certification (preferred).
- Crisis Intervention and De-escalation Training (preferred).
