We are currently looking for a Full-Time **Floor Leader**
**LOCATION**
Kinton Ramen North York - 5165 Yonge St., Toronto, ON, M2N 5P5
**SALARY**
$17.00/hour + tips (if applicable)

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greet all guests and present menus
- Take orders from guests and place them into POS
- Make recommendations and answer all related inquiries
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Serve food & beverage items as ordered in a timely fashion
- Prepare checks, process transactions and guest payments when required
- Ensuring excellent levels of service are being delivered to guests
- Address guests' complaints related to food quality and service. Report incident to the restaurant managers
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff
- Maintain inventory, stock levels and supplies
- Monitor, supervise servers and train new staff
- Comply and action all health, food safety and hygiene standards and policies
- Other duties may be assigned
**REQUIREMENTS**
**Experience**
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required
- Supervisory experience is an asset
- Food Handler or Food Safety, and Smart Serve certifications are mandatory requirement
**Skills & Qualifications**
- Strong communication skills in English; Japanese and French are considered an asset
- Energetic - ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and excellent customer-oriented approach
- Team player - assist in a positive guest experience however necessary
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to work standing up for 8-hour shifts
- Ability on occasion to lift up to 25lbs unassisted and carry as required
- Ability to lift and turn throughout the shift
- Ability to twist, turn, reach, and work above shoulder level
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without **sponsorship** for employment for work-authorized permit to be considered
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires standing for up to 8 hours per shift, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. This position also requires lifting up to 25lbs from floor to waist, waist to shoulder and shoulder to above head. This position also required twisting, turning, and reaching.
