**General Manager, Training**

Our company is looking for a General Manager, Training for our Sturgeon County training facility. Reporting to the president, the General Manager, Training will be responsible for the development, administration and operational day to day actives of this challenging, but rewarding position.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, and mentor appropriate training solutions for our training program;
- Research and share best practices with the team;
- Business development, customer & student relations;
- Experience with technical writing and process improvement;
- Coordinate and continuously improve processes around performance assessment and succession planning/career development, as well as activities focused on retention of the team;
- Collaboration and training within learning platforms;
- Create and implement new and interesting trainings for all volunteers;
- Measure the effectiveness of the learning solutions;
- Budget preparation and adherence;
- Lead, develop, and engage the Learning & Development team
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Education or related;
- 3+ learning and development experience required;
- Thorough understanding and experience with facilitating and training (including program design and delivery);
- Construction industry experience would be an asset;
- Ability to be flexible, handle multiple tasks, and show initiative;
- High proficiency in English (both written and spoken);
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Proven interpersonal skills and motivation to lead;
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential material;
- Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
- Adept in LMS software platforms would be an asset.

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
