**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- Responsible for piping repairs and new installations
- Responsible for maintaining onsite Water Softeners and Steam Traps
- Regular monitoring of the onsite wells
- Complete regular water testing activities
- Backup for the onsite treatment plant
- Responsible for daily boiler blowdown
- Report food safety issues to QA immediately
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act by reporting all hazards, accidents, incidents or near misses to the Supervisor
- Follow all prescribed SOP's, HACCP and GMP procedures
- Perform all job-related duties as assigned

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- Certificate of qualification Plumber 306A
- 2-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing facility
- Experience in a food manufacturing industry preferred.
- Read, write and communicate (English)
- Proficient mathematical and computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude with a good knowledge of standard tools, materials, methods, and trade practices
- Ability to lift 60lbs and work in a cold environment
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently
