**Position Summary**
Maintenance Technician is responsible for all building maintenance/repairing, ground maintenance duties within their assigned location(s) within a residential multi-family setting.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- General building maintenance works
- minor plumbing, minor electrical, troubleshooting appliances, boiler inspections, painting, carpentry etc.
- Ensure that all unit turnover work, maintenance repairs are completed prior to occupancy by new tenants
- General lawn care including hedging, pruning, planting, weeding
- Garbage pick-up and remove from sites and vacant suites indoor and outdoor
- Spring clean-up
- Snow removal, clear snow away from the steps, sidewalks and entrances of the buildings
- Spread salt on walkways and the entrances of the building
- Moving furniture and appliances when required
- Other building maintenance duties as assigned
- Perform on-call duties when required
- Other relevant duties assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Possess at least 2 years' of building handyman work experience
- Experience in minor plumbing/minor electrical/carpentry work
- Experience in landscaping, ground maintenance work
- Troubleshoot of appliances, repair works
- Working knowledge of renovation and repair of buildings, building systems, respective by-laws and/or regulations an asset
- Flexible to work regular work hours and on-call duties/weekends/ after hour emergencies on rotation basis schedule
- Able to lift and move more than 50lb
- Able to work inside and outside in all weather
- Must possess valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to use at work.
- Must successfully complete a security clearance
