**DESCRIPTION**

**Role**
This position reports to and is accountable to the Coordinator, Finance. This position advises on and is responsible for the purchasing functions of the organization in compliance with the Library Board Purchasing and Signing Authority Policy and other financial policies. The Purchasing Advisor performs purchasing functions as well as asset and file management duties for the organization.

**Education and Experience**

A minimum of three years related experience in purchasing and procurement is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
