**Description de poste**:
Illustrations are used by advisors and are instrumental in the servicing of Sun Life products. The Illustration Consultant reports to the Manager, Illustrations and Calculations and is a member of the In Force Illustrations and Calculations team within Individual Service Operations.

As an Illustration Consultant, you’ll be responsible for providing top quality illustrations, calculations, and expertise for Traditional and Universal Life products to advisors, customers and internal business partners. You’ll be a key resource, a team trainer and as required, an operational quality assessor.

**What will you do?**
- Produce manual in force illustrations for all Traditional and Universal Life products
- Manually calculate premiums, dividends, loans and cash values for Traditional and Universal Life products
- Understand and provide comprehensive explanations of the illustrations
- Subject Matter Expert for procedure improvements, product and system enhancements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advisors and internal business partners

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Comprehensive experience in life insurance with knowledge of Traditional and Universal Life Insurance products
- Ability to learn and understand different computer systems and programs quickly
- High level attention to detail to reduce risk of error with complex data
- Strong logic, problem solving and mathematical skills
- Highly effective communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to be self-motivated, self-directed and work independently in a fast paced, changing environment
- Solid understanding of Excel and an ability to use and manipulate Excel formulas to adjust calculations.
- As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for **Quebec only** for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or partners across Canada or worldwide.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Illustration experience is an asset
- Process improvement experience
- Proficiency on the following mainframe systems: CSW (Customer Service Workbench), Ingenium Life, MLIF, TSO
