**About the PAID Internship**

We are thrilled to offer a **Community Impact & Engagement Internship**, designed to align with UNYA’s vision while fostering tangible skills in community engagement, fundraising, and leadership development. This paid, one-year internship is intended to cultivate Indigenous leadership and strengthen community impact through an immersive, real-world experience.

This internship offers opportunities to grow, learn, and lead which includes:

- Hands-on experience in community engagement, donor relations, event planning, and communications.
- Direct mentorship from UNYA’s Fundraising, Impact and Admin team with rotational placements across UNYA’s four departments.
- Enrollment in the Foundations of Fundraising course through The New School of Fundraising (NSOF)—an Indigenous-owned and led school.
- Additional workshops and training tailored to your goals, strengths, and interests.
- Opportunities to contribute to community events, campaigns, proposals, media, and storytelling—while learning the tools of the trade, including Keela, Adobe, Excel, and more.

This is a rare chance to gain experience in a rewarding field where hands-on training is hard to come by. You’ll be making a difference while setting a powerful foundation for your future.

**What We Offer**:

- **Salary**: A 32-hour work week, Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility. Some weekend work associated with community events work be required
