Under the supervision of the
_Director - Global Infrastructure Operations_, the Manager - Systems Operation is responsible for managing the System Administration team. Technically involved he/she will split their time between deliverable and team management. More specifically, the Manager - System Operations:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manages contracted IT services through business partners;
- Manages priorities and oversee the successful completion of infrastructure-related tasks;
- Manages projects, meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations;
- Prioritizes, guides, directs and monitors work efforts of technical teams by ensuring proper staffing;
- Builds key performance indicators to track and report on IT service efficiency;
- Selects, develops, manages and evaluates staff to maximize employees’ satisfaction, participation and performance;
- Provides coaching, mentoring and counseling to employees;
- Ensures a development plan as well as a career path to employees;
- Defines team member objectives based on the organization objectives, goals, strategies and measures (OGSM)
- Develop and promote technology service standards, policies and guidelines for ensuring adoption of standard services;
- Interfaces with vendors as for support contracts and contributes to renewal process;
- Leads and oversee licences usage under its center of expertise;
- Leads and oversee asset lifecycle (EOS/OEL) under its center of expertise;
- Maintains / improves ITIL processes & documentation for the infrastructure operations (change, knowledge, configuration, etc.);
- Provide leadership and direction for the team as required to support the incident and change management process;
- Identifies and prioritize key areas of improvement toward operational stability;
- Contributes to define the technology roadmap with the Architecture team;
- Ensures representation of IT services at the Architecture and Solution Review boards;
- Manages OPEX and CAPEX budgets on it's area of responsibilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred;
- Cumulates a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT and 5 years of as an IT manager;
- Notable experience managing Hypervisors, enterprise backup, load-balancer, monitoring solutions;
- Microsoft, Nutanix, VMware, Commvault certifications is a key asset;
- Experience with ITSM Tools, in particular ServiceNow
- Strong leadership and experience with Managed Services and multi-vendor environments;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Ability to travel at least once a month;
- Bilingualism (French and English) will be considered as an asset
