**Role**

We are looking for a highly enthusiastic Business Intelligence Analyst to develop, deploy and maintain BI reports. We need someone with a passion for data visualizations, and modelling, who is also good at telling the right story with data - clear, concise, and actionable.

The role requires close collaboration between the Business Intelligence team and key stakeholders in Sales, Development and Marketing, and eventually the ability to demonstrate expert level knowledge of our products and services. We are a small closely-knit team, and the Business Intelligence Analyst will have the opportunity to wear many hats and contribute to many areas of the data organization. If you do not want to fall into a routine and be an isolated BI person, you have come to the right place.

This position works within the Business Intelligence and Governance group, and reports to the Director of BI & Data Governance.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineers to document business requirements for BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and analytical deliverables.
- Build and manage BI solutions in PowerBI, Python and SQL.
- Participating in data engineering and architecture conversations.
- Data modeling for various BI workstreams.
- Ensuring data and report integrity by implementing and adhering to industry best practices, and quality control processes.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, in mathematics, business intelligence, statistics, engineering, computer science, economics, physics or other quantitative disciplines.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise reporting in a BI environment (must have).
- Expertise in building custom BI reports and analytical solutions with PowerBI (must have).
- Ability to generate visualizations from complex datasets, draw business-relevant conclusions and present them in a manner comprehensible to non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of modern database technologies, data modeling techniques and underlying infrastructure. Experience with MSBI stack and Azure will be preferred.

This position is in hybrid mode in Montreal at Avanquest office, located 7075 Place Robert-Joncas, Suite 142, Montreal, H4M 2Z2.
