**What do we expect of you**:

- Post-secondary education focused on an accounting career such as a or diploma or Bachelor's degree.
- 1-3 years related accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of cloud-based accounting software (such as QuickBooks Online) &/or payroll software.
- Effective multitasker, adept at prioritizing tasks for efficient completion.
- Experience in recording full-cycle routine financial transactions (A/P, A/R).
- Experience in preparing reconciliations for credit card, loans &/or bank accounts.
- Experience in payroll preparation in a variety of payroll/timekeeping softwares.
- Exceptional customer service skills, building & maintaining trusting relationships.
- Self-motivated & efficient while working independently.
- Quick learner, able to handle increasingly complex responsibilities.
- Team player, positively impacting & supporting colleagues.
- Demonstrates discretion in handling confidential information.

**What you will be doing**:

- Process & maintain accurate & current financial records utilizing cutting-edge accounting & financial management systems.
- Provide technical accounting assistance in processing routine financial transactions, bank/loan/GL account reconciliations, & various government remittances.
- Prepare journal entries & assist with month-end close procedures.
- Assist with payroll processing & related tasks.
- Collaborating with TCO’s skilled team of CPAs, aide in the preparation of financial statements & relevant reports for our clients & other stakeholders.
- Support senior team members with various accounting projects.
- Embracing feedback & mentoring from colleagues, continuously developing & improving your skills & abilities.
- Participating in team activities and offering support to colleagues, helping to build a strong & cohesive work environment.
