We are currently looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team and contribute to the on-going success of our operation.

Under the direction of the Warehouse Director, the Warehouse Manager is accountable to facilitate our day to day warehouse and distribution activities with a tight focus on customer service, cost savings and efficiency while ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.

**Objectives of this Role**
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals;
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, receiving and shipping methods;
- Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long-term performance goals
- Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
- Ensuring a well-coordinated reception of all goods
- Review and prepare workflow, space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
- Maintain safety and health regulations by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations

**The main responsibilities**
- Responsible for the inbound and outbound of goods;
- Establish and maintains accurate inventories using cycle counts
- Ensuring deadlines and quality objectives are met;
- Develop and maintain operating procedures and best practices;
- Ensure preventive and corrective actions are followed;
- Respond to customer concerns and queries professionally;
- Train new hires and assisting warehouse employees with tasks when needed;
- Meeting regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention;
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with customers;
- Assigning work schedules and timesheets to warehouse workers;
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and transport companies
- Inspect equipments, tools and machinery regularly and oversee general maintenance as needed;
- Execute any other warehouse related tasks as assigned by the director.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years of warehousing and distribution - 3PL experience;
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policies
- Ability to communicate well in French and English.
- Possess forklift license (Asset)
- Energetic, hard-working, great attitude, sense of urgency, team player;
- Customer service oriented;
- Strong communication, organization skills and attention to detail;
- Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office
