We are a multi disciplinary team of medical professionals dedicated to identifying health risks and improving client outcomes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer service minded individual who wants to work in a collaborative, friendly and supportive environment. As a **Client Relations Specialist**, you will provide excellent client care by assisting the medical and professional staff in managing client activity. The position is responsible to provide direct administrative support to the client relations director and all practitioners at the clinic. You will work together with support staff, Psychologists, Canadian Certified Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists to build one-on-one relationships that will facilitate ongoing communications and cross-referrals.

**Experience / Knowledge**:
- Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Responsible for supporting and promoting the Nurse Practitioner with referrals and other clinical support
- Experience managing projects and working relationships in a matrix organization
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with clinical staff strongly encouraged. Work directly with individuals at all levels of the organization, including clinicians and leadership
- Strategic thinking & facilitation: Ability to think and address strategic and clinical demands
- Ability to take initiative and proactively identify problems and propose solutions
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to organize time and priorities effectively, asking for direction when appropriate. Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and deadline pressures

- Poise to represent the organization well externally via phone, written communications and in person
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an online booking system **JaneApp preferred**:
- Exceptional organizational and customer service skills
- Superior telephone etiquette
- Ability to transcribe into a report
- Ability to handle and communicate effectively with challenging clients and in crisis situations
- **3-5 years in healthcare or mental care setting preferred**:
- **Preferences towards**: Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP), Health Information Act (HIA), Mental Health First Aid courses (or willingness to complete)
**Hours required**:
Flexibility in hours to meet the clinic needs: evening, day and weekends shifts required
A criminal record check and vulnerable sector is required
This position is located in Beaumont
You will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement to protect the privacy of our clients
