Sales and Marketing Support Specialist

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
As the Sales and Marketing Support Specialist, you will oversee the management of product category information, acting as the go-to expert for product catalogue management and provincial submissions. You’ll support product development through innovation pipeline insights, contribute to market launch materials, and provide educational presentations for both retail and wholesale audiences. In addition, you’ll manage a seed-to-sale platforms operations, including SKU creation, provincial reporting, and order entry, ensuring seamless product availability and accurate data tracking across channels.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Category Management**
- Master SKU Creation and Catalogue_
- Create and maintain the catalogue.
- Act as the source of information for provincial SKU submissions.
- Create new Delta 9 SKU's.
- Product Knowledge Library_
- Support product development and grading reporting.
- Maintain and disseminate retail and wholesale product information.
- Innovation Pipeline_
- Participate in product development meetings and track new innovations.
- Contribute key insights to market launch materials (e.g., SKU/strain cards, presentations).
- Provide market research.
- Educational Presentations_
- Deliver product education at both the purchaser and budtender levels (in-person and digital).
- Provide product education to budtenders.
- Create product-related creatives like strain cards and retail presentations.
- Provincial Catalogue Maintenance_
- Manage SKU submissions, product status changes, and price updates.

**Order Management**
- Handle provincial and wholesale order entry, booking bulk orders, and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Create 3 month booking orders.
- Maintain tracking and reporting of orders to ensure seamless operations.
- Track order status and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.

**Provincial Reporting**
- Generate and submit required reports to provincial authorities.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business needs.
- Ensure balance between data management and creativity for effective product communication.
- Other duties as assigned.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Post-secondary education required; business degree is an asset.
- Prior experience in the cannabis industry is an asset.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with catalogue or complex data sets.
- Knowledge of a seed-to-sale software is an asset.
- Canva or Adobe design program knowledge is an asset.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to balance data-oriented tasks with creative work.
- Strong cross-departmental collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently.
