**Overview**

**Duties**
- Research and investigate newsworthy events and topics to produce accurate and engaging content.
- Write clear and compelling articles, reports, and features that adhere to journalistic standards.
- Proofread and edit your own work as well as the work of others to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Conduct interviews with sources to gather information and quotes for stories.
- Collaborate with editors and other team members to develop story ideas and ensure timely publication.
- Stay updated on current events and trends within the industry to inform your reporting.
- Utilize multimedia tools to enhance storytelling, including photography, video, or audio elements when applicable.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in journalism or a related field is preferred.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in proofreading and copy editing to maintain high editorial standards.
- Research skills that enable thorough investigation of topics from multiple angles.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.80-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
