Driver/mover/swamper

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including those with manual transmissions
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
- Move items within warehouses or client locations efficiently and carefully
- Deliver goods to customers following designated routes and schedules
- Assist with route driving to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of vehicles and work areas
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety compliance
- Support warehouse operations by organizing inventory and assisting with loading dock activities

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred, must be 25 years of age to meet insurance requirements.
- Q Endorsement an asset.
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable
- Ability to operate box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmissions safely
- Experience in warehouse operations, moving, heavy lifting, and route driving preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual handling tasks regularly
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving and material handling
- Ability to work independently while following safety protocols and schedules

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
