**Principal at Harvest Baptist Academy**

Harvest Baptist Academy is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Principal to lead our vibrant school community. As the Principal, you'll oversee daily operations and program activities, aligning them with our mission to provide a Christ-centered education. Collaborate with the school board to implement our education plan and inspire excellence in both staff and students.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_

Lead, hire, evaluate, and supervise all school staff, ensuring their professional growth.
Support teachers with curriculum planning and development.
Manage school scheduling, Alberta Ed compliance, and the creation of the school calendar.
Able to spearhead professional development initiatives.
Oversee special education programs, including IEP management and specialist collaboration.
Handle administrative tasks: registrations, record-keeping, Alberta Ed documentation, and examinations.
Maintain our Student Information System, managing enrollments, report cards, and system updates.
Engage in fundraising activities, providing technical support, and teaching select classes to stay connected with the school community.

As a teaching principal you will also have a.2 teaching assignment.
- **Qualifications**:_

Alberta Permanent Professional Teacher Certificate - Alberta Leadership Certificate preferred (must be willing to obtain this if needed)
A mature believer committed to honouring Christ and dedicated to discipleship and academic excellence.
Prior leadership experience in an educational setting.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Passionate about Christian education and lifelong learning.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
