**Primary Purpose of the Position**
Responsible for cost-effective and timely supply chain activities of assigned material, supplies, and services (product) supporting the operation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Using our ERP system, prepare purchase orders for inventory items approved with set min/max
- Ensure that all purchase orders are confirmed by the supplier in writing and record data in our inventory control software
- Ensure incoming shipments have proper customs clearance
- Maintain article information related to purchasing functions, such as assigned inventory numbers, price list information, and supplier details
- Evaluate all documents necessary to clear goods by collaborating with our Customs Broker

**Qualifications**
- Minimum Required: 3-5 years of relevant experience in a comparable role
- Preferred: At least 6 years of progressive experience in a similar or related role. Experience in the high-volume manufacturing and/or metal fabrication industry
- Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations Management, Business Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented.
- Open to change and willing to learn new skills.
- ERP systems experience
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to follow up on pending issues.
- Preferred: Successful completion of a certificate in Distribution & Handling Materials or a Business Tech program in Transportation and Logistics.
**-**Proficiency in either French or English is required.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
