**Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and meal preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
