**Summary**
We are looking for a part-time Sonographer to join our team and assist our doctors with diagnosis. Sonographer responsibilities include using sonographic equipment to record images of patients and help diagnose a variety of medical illnesses and conditions. Ultimately, you will work directly with patients to provide sonographic procedures in order to better understand patient needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional care to our clients
- Duties include entering relevant data into the PACS
- Preventative screening ultrasound
- Dual trained ultrasound and echo is an asset
- Preparing examination room and patients for procedures
- Operating ultrasound equipment including processing and archiving of acquired data
- Monitoring patient during procedures
- Monitoring equipment performance
- Performing disinfection and high-level disinfection as per policies and procedures is required
- Following scan protocols and liaising with the Radiologist as instructed.
- Other duties as may be required by Healthcode
- Performs team tasks as required to maintain effective team operations. Example of tasks may include: Updating protocols, Ordering supplies, Attending meetings (e.g.) safety, document control), Filing and other related duties. These tasks may be assigned by the team supervisor and/or be on a voluntary basis.

Based on experience (starting at $45 per hour)

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week
