**Water Truck Driver - Class 3 Standard 13 Speed**

Do you have a passion for efficiency and like to show pride in a job well done? Then this job is for you. Blue Grass, Calgary's largest landscaping Commercial Distribution Centre is looking for reliable, hardworking people to operate a water truck, watering trees for our customers. This position is seasonal from May to November.

Duties include:

- Operating our 10-tonne water truck and watering trees at our location and various other sites.
- Following all directions as provided by dispatch, management, and customers.
- Interacting with customers to ensure watering is done appropriately and good customer service is provided.
- Loading and unloading hoses, hauling them to the watering area, and then securing them back to the truck once completed.
- Operating hydrants and commercial sprinklers
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records via tablets in the truck.
- Maintaining and doing daily equipment checks

Qualifications:

- Class 3 Driver's license with clean driver's abstract.
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Experience with 10-tonne water trucks, hoses, and valves, hydrants, and sprinklers
- Physically capable of driving, hauling hoses, and watering trees.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Dispatch, fellow drivers, Operations Manager, and clients
- Must have good knowledge of Calgary and area street systems and be comfortable maneuvering large vehicles through tight residential areas

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
