YOUR CHALLENGE
As a motivated and resourceful Public Affairs and Communications Coordinator, you will play a key role in Boralex's mission to develop and supply renewable energy. Reporting to the Vice President of Public Affairs and Communication, and supporting the efforts of the North American Public Affairs team, you will contribute to a variety of areas, including:

- Support to the Vice President, Public Affairs and Communications, in the preparation of documents and messages for internal and external presentations;
- Handle light accounting responsibilities, that include processing incoming invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments;
- Organize events, from planning and budget monitoring, to on-site logistics management and post-event follow-up;
- Planning and coordinating meetings with key stakeholders and community members;
- Management of databases and monitoring on priority issues and objectives;
- Collaboration with various internal multidisciplinary teams as well as consultants, professional associations and industry peers;
- Assistance in the logistics related to the management of the donation and sponsorship program.

YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree in communications, public relations, event management or related field;
- Prior experience in basic accounting or finance can be beneficial;
- Experience in event planning and execution, with strong budget and logistics monitoring skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for creating creative content;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;
- Organizational rigor and skills, including the ability to maintain clear records, schedules and budgets;
- Adaptability and willingness to travel as required by the position.
