As a Sales Associate your responsible is providing outstanding customer service. Their enthusiasm and positive demeanor is essential in offering customers help with all shopping needs. They are responsible for the daily operation of the in the retail showroom ensuring stock levels are maintained, cleanliness of aisle and merchandising is to store expectations. This individual performs strongly as an individual as well in a team setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Firmly understand and maintains company values, policies and procedures
- Ensures sections are walked on a daily basis, with stock being checked, counted and organized (Inventory control)
- Demonstrates superior customer service in both individual and team environments
- Ensures all pricing is current and up to date while working with direct supervisor
- Capable of heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
- Works closely and in compliance with the safety committee to ensure all store policy and procedures are being followed within their department
- Maintains a flexible work schedule
- Will be trained in all areas which include building materials, plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation etc.
- Ensures orders are picked, tagged, and placed in the appropriate locations to allow for deliveries to be organized and completed in a timely manner
- Ensures that all services meet or exceed requirements by regulatory agencies.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Computer knowledge.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Standing for long periods of time

ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Work in controlled temperature 70% of the time; outside 30% of the time.
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
