The ideal applicant will have:

- 3-5 years experience in cabinetmaking
- Thorough knowledge of cabinet making techniques and materials applicable to the carpentry trade.
- Have a valid Class 5 BC Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract

Job Duties:

- Building, repairing, and installing a variety of millwork such as cabinets, counters, shelving units and other finishing work for homes and offices.
- Designing, reading, and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications of equipment and furnishings.
- Understand and speak English in a technical environment
- Able to quickly jump from project to project as priorities shift;
- Ability to demonstrate professional knowledge and use of in shop / onsite tools and equipment
- Be a self-starter who needs mínimal supervision
- The ability to comfortably and regularly lift 50 lbs
- Work well in a team setting
- Contribute to weekly team discussion about safety, schedule and productivity improvements
- Be punctual and reliable
- Have your own hand tools, maintained in good working order
- Fast paced and energetic to meet project deadlines.

Education: Joinery certificate or equivalent experience is highly desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00 per hour
