**Responsibilities**:

- Consult with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences and offer expert advice on different makeup looks, matching their skin tone, and facial features.
- Select, apply, and blend various makeup products such as foundation, eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara, and lipstick to create natural or bold looks depending on the clients' needs.
- Create makeup looks for clients attending events such as weddings, photoshoots, or other special occasions.
- Stay up-to-date with current makeup trends, techniques, and product innovations to provide excellent service and advice to clients.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of all makeup tools, equipment, and workspaces before and after use.
- Build a network of clients by promoting services through social media platforms and attending networking events.
- Upsell other beauty services or products to clients to enhance their overall experience.

**Qualification**:

- 2+ years’ experience in the beauty or event planning industry, preferably as a Makeup Artist
- Minimum high school graduate. Diploma or certificate from cosmetology school preferred.
- Experience in bridal make-up and hair styles
- Knowledge of makeup techniques and trends
- Superb communication skills
- Good time management skills and patience
- A keen eye for artistic detail
- Customer-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
- The ability to work early morning, later evenings and weekends
- Willingness to travel to different locations
- Ability to work with diverse clients

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
