**About the Opportunity**:
Under the supervision of the area manager, the supply technologist in Interventional Radiology is responsible for requisition, maintenance and control of surgical and diagnostic imaging supplies, equipment and instruments for related functions. The supply technologist will contribute to the indirect care of the imaging patients and ensure adequate imaging supplies available at both sites. The individual must also frequently communicate with other departments within Nova Scotia Health and also various representatives of supply vendors.

Position is located at the HI and VG sites - with travel between sites daily

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Grade XII
- 1 year related experience required
- Computer skills required
- Knowledge with Diagnostic Imaging Interventional Radiology Procedures preferred
- Familiarity with Excel and the Materials Management/SAP systems and Spacetrax Inventory Management systems preferred
- Experience working in an OR environment
- Knowledge and training in aseptic technique, Infection Control policies, and radiation safety preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Must have the ability to work in an environment of constant change and demanding timelines that is noisy and stressful
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours**:
Permanent full time position; 75 hours biweekly

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$20.25 - $22.50 Hourly
