We currently have an opportunity for a **Security Guard / Customer Service Expert in Port Colborne**.
**Qualifications**:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally allowed to work in Canada.
- Be able to pass provincial and federal security background checks.
- Have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Possess a valid driver’s license & own vehicle.
- Possess a valid Ontario security license.
- Possess valid first-aid certification.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task are required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic
1. Performs the duties of a Security Guard in accordance with post orders and company policy.
2. Performs the duties of a Customer Service Expert in accordance with post orders and company policy.
3. Provides lead direction to team from assigned client; acts to ensure that post orders are followed, that established requirements are met, and that adequate reports are filed; notifies proper stake holders and clients as situations arise.
4. May advise company management or designated representatives as appropriate based on needs of assigned client and documents follow up actions.
5. Assists in the training of Security Guards and review of post orders.
6. Assists in the submission of information to the assigned client as designated by management.
7. In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives acts to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts.
8. Creates, augments, and maintains scheduling for sites related to assigned client.
9. Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
10. Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
11. Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide the highest quality of customer service.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
**Salary**: $17.62-$19.22 per hour
