Responsibilities include:

- Responsible for the production of all meals and catering services as listed on weekly menu under the guidance of a diet manager
- Ensure that the appropriate temperature of the foods is maintained at meal time
- Prepare purchase orders and receives the requisitioned food and supplies.
- Put away food deliveries and assist staff with their outlined job routine
- Maintain food inventory records and follow Quality Management Plan
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitization of all kitchen cookware and tools
- Follows departmental policies and procedures for quality control, infection control, fire safety, and environmental protection.
- And any other duties assigned from time to time

**Requirements**:

- Have entered into a registered training agreement OR successfully completed an apprenticeship program in the trade of Cook, Institutional Cook or Assistant Cook
- Previous experience as Cook/Line Cook, preferably in LTCH
- Ability to understand instructions in English clearly. Ability to speak and understand “Mandarin” is preferred.
- Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
