The Resort prides itself on its family-orientation, and having lots of big powder days, as well as some breathtaking beautiful views. We are a mid sized mountain resort located in the Douglas Range of the Fraser Valley, with the Hemlock Village located close to our base. We typically get some of the best snow in BC, on our 37 runs that include beginner, moderate and advanced level groomers, powder bowls and some serious steeps. Every day at Sasquatch is different as you explore our terrain, and get to work across different departments

The Manager of Hospitality / Food & Beverage will be accountable for ongoing operational and administrative oversight of all Hospitality Restaurant & Bar, and Concessions Operations, as well as be active in coordinating some related special events. This will include the business process management and employee leadership. The Manager will provide direct guidance for department activities and direct reports, while providing general oversight of all activities, including Lounge entertainment, and a combination of other special events (indoors & out around the base area). They will partner with other departments to deliver quality guest experiences, and lead the implementation of activities operating procedures, providing exceptional service delivery, while also ensuring a safe operating environment for all guests and staff.

Responsible for adherence to strict Health & Safety procedures and reporting.
Contribute to guest and employee safety. Lead discussions on our safety practices. Guide awareness of compliance with regional health authority and industry regulatory operating requirements.
Monitor and log all training processes and forms, Coordinate with Supervisors and Leads to ensure consistency in activities and training.
Lead regular department meetings, address operations and guest service needs by setting clear goals and objectives for staff.
Ensure continuing leadership and skill development feedback and exposure for staff to promote talent development.
Additional Responsibilities include: working with our HR dept in the hiring of staff, carryout scheduling, staff management, time and labor management, budgeting and forecasting, management of inventory, supply monitoring, scheduling deliveries, etc.

Collective oversight and coordination between different F&B outlets to meet operational goals related to staffing and expense management that contributes to revenue goals.
Partner with other departments to react to operational needs and maximize staff use
Work with staff to perform progressive coaching and discipline conversations with staff according to established protocols.
Create, update and manage budgets for all aspects of the business within the scope of the position
Perform front line duties, and other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
Experience Managing high volume food and beverage operations, including events, catering, and concessions.
An understanding of driving revenue and managing budgets, including cost controls with regard to food, beverage, products and labor.
Experience in Creating and managing budgets.

Cash Handling and Guest Service experience
MS office and computer proficiency.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Able to work alone and as part of a team in a high paced environment.
Ski Industry experience and/or work in a seasonal environment is beneficial
Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
