Kennel Attendant

**Job Summary**
As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to animals in a kennel environment. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness of the kennels, ensuring the well-being of the animals, and assisting with various tasks to support the overall operation of the facility.

**Duties**:

- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and play areas
- Provide food, water, and basic care for animals
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to supervisory staff
- Assist with exercising animals
- Assist with intake and discharge procedures for animals
- Maintain inventory of supplies and notify when replenishment is needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in animal care or related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with pet owners and visitors
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
