We are a leading fabricator of structural steel and overhead cranes located south of Edmonton in the Nisku Industrial Park, Alberta. **The Position**:
An opportunity currently exists for a Class 1 Driver, with a competitive hourly rate with overtime where applicable, and benefits (after a probationary period).
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Represent the company by carrying out duties in a cooperative, respectful manner. Moving trailers, material and equipment between shops, vendors and customer sites across western Canada.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drive test, 50lbs physical demands test and drug & alcohol test.
- Familiarity with the steel fabrication industry and equipment is desirable along with a good understanding of load securement and DOT rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of how to**, **and willingness to perform day to day servicing, maintenance and inspections on equipment is necessary.
- 3 years of Flat Deck experience, and knowledge of Over-Dimension hauling.
- Clean Commercial Drivers Abstract is a must.
