The Inn on Officers’ Garden began life as the Officers’ Mess at Currie Barracks. It has been brought back to beyond its former glory - the exceptional craftsmanship of the past being incorporated into the workmanship of today.

The impressive brand-new surroundings within this historic building are a comfortable meeting place any day of the week but also perfect for a “special day”. The Inn is a social hub for the entire community of Currie and area, a sought-after space for weddings, corporate events, family reunions and even a Calgary boutique hotel weekend away for friends or couples.

Hiring Part Time serving staff for restaurants and events. Hiring professional, hospitality focused, knowledgeable staff for our restaurant and event space. Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced atmosphere.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers upon entrance
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment

**Qualifications**:

- Valid ProServe Certificate
- 1-3+ years industry experience (If you have the love for people and don't have the experience, we still want to meet you)
- Customer-oriented approach and patience
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent people skills
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Attention to cleanliness and safety

**Experience**:

- serving: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve, SIR or equivalent (preferred)
