**Job Overview**
We are seeking a lawyer with 1 to 3 years experience who is motivated to build their practice in the area of family law litigation and mediation. This is a valuable opportunity for a junior associate to gain hands-on experience working on a wide range of family law matters in a supportive and collaborative environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Represent clients in family law matters, including separation, divorce, parenting, child and spousal support, and property division.
- Draft court pleadings, affidavits, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Appear at the Alberta Court of Justice and Court of King’s Bench for litigation tips.
- Attend mediations and arbitrations.
- Provide sound legal advice to clients in a clear, compassionate, and professional manner.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda and opinions.
- Manage client files from start to finish under the guidance of senior lawyers.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.

**Qualifications**
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
- 1 to 3 years of post-call experience in family law or general litigation (family law experience preferred).
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple files and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A client-centered approach with professionalism and discretion.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
