We're looking for a motivated and dynamic Pre-Owned Inventory Buyer to join our team and help us continue to grow our business.

**Responsibilities**:
**Buying**:

- Daily discussions with the General Manager regarding vehicle purchases and consultation on lost opportunities.
- Locate, evaluate, and complete the purchase of pre-owned vehicles for resale from auctions, customers, and other dealers.
- Log and record data related to appraisals, customer responses, and analytics in the dealership management system.
- Analyze market conditions and monitor dealership portfolios to identify acquisition opportunities.
- Coordinate the shipment of vehicles to the dealership.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of all vehicle makes and models, including competitive brands.
- Appraise vehicles using V-Auto and Traderev
- Set up appointments with guests for in-person or on-site appraisals.
- Source vehicles from online advertisements and respond to electronic leads, phone calls, and customer walk-ins.
- Manage inventory of vehicles purchased for resale and analyze inventory profitability, sales volume, and new sources of vehicle supply.
- Monitor wholesale trends in the automotive market in Canada.
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and on-demand reporting related to wholesale buying activities.
- Keep a daily run list of ICO (Instant Cash Offer) leads and ensure proper crediting for any leads that were not genuinely interested in selling.

**Qualifications**:

- Licensed by the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC).
- Strong prospecting and selling skills with the ability to build and maintain a network of referrals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of personal integrity and professionalism.
- Proficient in using dealership management systems and customer relationship management systems.
- Knowledge of V-Auto and Accu Trade for vehicle appraisals.
- Familiarity with social media content creation.
- Ability to analyze market conditions and monitor automotive industry trends.
- Experience in the automotive industry is an asset but not required
