**Position Description**:
**Here¿s What You¿ll Get to Do**:

- Help develop and maintain Power BI reports/dashboards
- Work closely with business and clinical stakeholders to develop requirements, specifications, and business rules for Power BI reports
- Work closely with data experts on the Decision Support and Data Warehouse team to ensure accuracy and appropriate structure to the data
- Identify problems and inefficiencies with current BI landscape and leverage Power BI to develop innovative and scalable solutions for business and clinical users
- Conceptualize, design, develop and document scalable Power BI models for reporting and analysis
- Complete the development of reports and integrating data sets from conception to completion and continue to support as they are implemented in Production
- Design and execute user acceptance testing plan for successful report implementations
- Ensure privacy and security standards are always adhered to
- Other administrative responsibilities include access management, monitoring usage metrics, and reporting to senior management
- Track, troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to all aspects of the BI solution
- Maintenance responsibilities include periodic maintenance, documentation and review of reports and workspaces while continually assessing their validity and relevance

**Here's What You'll Need**:

- Essential skills:_
- Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field is required
- 3+ years of experience in developing and implementing BI Solutions required, with special consideration to experience with Power BI.
- Highly advanced, and demonstratable, skills in DAX, M, ETL (Power Query), SQL, performance optimization are required.
- Effective interpersonal skills in a cross-functional environment. Able to interact with all levels of technical ability and comfortable with translating business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
- Problem solving skills, out of box thinking, drive for innovation and ability to execute ideas.
- Strong project management, time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and derive meaning from data.
- A drive to ensure privacy and security standards are always adhered to
- Inclination towards taking the organization from BI to AI landscape in long-term
- Demonstrated commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion objectives
- Recommended skills:_
- Experience in both database concepts and design, particularly experience with Azure SQL Data Warehouse is recommended.
- Previous experience working within an acute healthcare setting.
- Effective interpersonal skills in a cross-functional environment. Able to interact with all levels of technical ability and comfortable with translating business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
- Intermediate skills in R/Python is a nice to have.
- An understanding in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is a nice to have.
- Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning and Predictive/Prescriptive Analytics is nice to have.
- A proven self-starter and idea generator
- The ability to learn new tools, as needed
- The ability to work independently, and as part of a diverse team with on-site resources such as Decision Support, Finance, IS and end-users as well as external consultants
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Attention to detail

**Employment Type**: Temporary Full Time, 35 hours per week
