**Qualifications**:. A valid driver’s license with five demerits or less is required for this position.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot
- Promote General Motors product superiority, including technology and features
- Inform customers about GM specifications
- Determine customer wants and needs
- Build strong rapport with customers
- Provide test drives when required
- Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards
- Previous sales or customer service experience is an asset
- Introduce the use of new technology into the sales process including specific digital tools such as General Motors app
- Prepare the showroom and ensure it is in a clean state
- Required AMVIC Certification

*The sales associate position is commission based

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. Albert, AB T8N 2Y3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
